I have been a part of this writing community for 2 years and we are gathering resources to publish an anthology of our collected works. Across a wide span of ages, languages, styles, and stories, we represent the multitudes within the Asian Diaspora. This Anthology will weave together a tapestry of unique voices to claim our narrative in first person, and uplift people of the Asian Diaspora.
Contribute at the gofundme and tune into the talk!
San Francisco-born poet and author Genny Lim has facilitated writing classes for the Asian Diaspora for decades, nurturing intergenerational communities to transmute collective wounds such as Japanese incarceration, immigration, warfare, patriarchy, racism, and anti-Asian violence; as well as celebrating ancestral cultural wisdom for healing and liberation. This fundraiser goes toward creating an Anthology that will showcase our manifold AAPI stories.
